The New Aluminium Frame for Transom Frame Design
We’re excited to introduce a new option within our Transom Frame Design range – Aluminium Frame Design. This new installation approach enhances our existing transom frame offerings, giving clients an additional way to achieve a clean, modern aesthetic in acoustic partitioning. Here’s a closer look at both available methods, including the new aluminium frame design.
Two Approaches to the Transom Frame Design
We offer two distinct approaches to our Transom Frame Design – Aluminium Frame Design and Flat Bar Design, each crafted to meet specific needs in both aesthetic and acoustic performance.
1. ALUMINIUM FRAME DESIGN
The new aluminium frame design introduces a fresh approach to the Transom Frame Design. This installation method involves inserting the glass securely within a dedicated frame gap, ensuring stability and enhancing sound insulation. The aluminium frame is compatible exclusively with our COMO and SOLO PLUS systems, which feature track frames with dimensions of 105mmW x 30mmH, allowing for a stable and durable installation.
This aluminium frame option can be customized with both horizontal and vertical configurations, providing flexibility to meet design preferences. The glass used in this design is also customizable to suit different privacy and aesthetic needs. For example, in the image, reeded glass is used in the middle section to create a blurred effect, enhancing privacy. Alternatively, tinted glass, one-way mirrors, or other types of glass can be used in various sections, offering flexibility to match the unique needs of each project.
2. FLAT BAR DESIGN
The flat bar design remains a popular option within the Transom Frame Design category. This method involves affixing a slim, flat aluminium bar directly onto the glass. It offers a minimalist aesthetic and is compatible with all of our systems, including the SOLO, SOLO PLUS, and COMO systems. Similar to the aluminium frame design, the flat bar can be configured horizontally, vertically, or in a mixed arrangement depending on the desired outcome.
Choosing the Right Option for Your Project
Both the aluminium frame and flat bar designs deliver the Transom Frame Design aesthetic, but each approach is suited to different project requirements:
- Aluminium Frame Design: The latest addition, offering a stable installation and enhanced acoustic properties, available only with COMO and SOLO PLUS systems.
- Flat Bar Design: A versatile choice compatible with all our systems, suitable for projects requiring flexibility.
With these two approaches, we’re pleased to provide tailored solutions that cater to your unique design and acoustic requirements. Our team is available to help you select the best option for your space.
